Vampire Academy

Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the land of magic. She must be protected at all times Strigoi, and most dangerous vampires fierce - who never die.

The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway, Lissa's best friend, makes a Dhampir, she engaged in a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from Strigoi, who are determined to make it
one of them.

After two years of freedom, Rose and Lissa are caught and dragged back to St. Vladimir's Academy, hidden in the deep forests of Montana. Rose Dhampir continue their education. Lissa will be the Queen of the elite Moroi social scene.
And girls will resume breaking hearts.

The fear was that Lissa and Rose run away from St. Vladimir's - but her world is full of dangers, both inside and outside the iron gates of the Academy. Here, the ranks of the fierce Moroi perform unspeakable rituals and their secretive nature and love of the night creates an enigmatic world full of social complexities.
Rose and Lissa must navigate through this dangerous world, against the temptation of a forbidden romance, and never lower our guard, lest an end to Lissa Strigoi, or become one of them forever. To my point of view this book as the others are amazing! since the re-read this after having read the other I realize that they are related. As this begins when Rose and Lissa become the academy thanks to Dimitri. I love her character, and that will always protect Lissa or anyone who cares to stand between the bad and them, it was demonstrated that day he met Dimitri and she confronts him, knowing he could not defeat . On its side would not hurt, so just the elusive, but as she was very weak almost falls, then before touching down on the saves. One thing I learned reading the other books is that Dimitri can feel when Rose is in Lissa's head, (that makes it clear in "Spirit Bound") because without her Lissa have been told nothing about his "connection" on him Kirova account manager that they are connected. Also when he puts his mentor's face, this being an internal struggle to not show their feelings, which like the guess Rose.Concluding that they fell in love at first vsita, as both think alike and feel the same about each other. Is that love in which if one dies the other can not continue to exist, for the simple fact that both think that: the heart does not die when it stops beating, when the beats rather have no meaning and sense of hearts they begin to make sense when known.Proof that not only Rose was smitten to see Dimitri's when the surprises her with Jesse and check the room, then watched him put an expressionless face (though eventually discovered when she spoke at the gym and says that this meeting took out of his wits because Jesse was of royal descent attempting to abuse a girl dhampir. He looked the other and then said: "- I got angry for many reasons. After all, you were violating the rules, y. .. "- looked into her eyes.)
But the most interesting part of this book takes place towards the end when Victor kidnaps Lissa (by casting a spell of lust Rose and Dimitri) after this spell they will be drawn to the rescue with the help and caregivers, and have there after what happened before Dimitri's room, the back will show your love when she wanted to go down behind them to go and rescue the short Lissa but grabbing by the wattles and looking straight in the eye telling you: it has work very well, but that's not his place, she and I also need you to stay safe. Lissa while he was with his "uncle", the will clarify many doubts about his element telling him that his specialty is the spirit, which is to heal and revive people (in addition to walk in a dream, enchant items, save strigois, but
I discover this later.)By trapping Victor, Rose comes to visit for the freedom of that spell, there understands that Dimitri if you feel something very strong for her, because if the did not feel anything, the spell would not have been. Victor tries to escape the prison of academia, with the help of his daughter (who became strigoi), she attacks all the guards, including Rose, but fails when Dimitri finds them, (so save and kill Rose Nathalie). There he explains that it means a lot to her, but theirs would not work because both must take care of Lissa.Which I thought was ridiculous anyway because if they had gone, to be near each other will not be able to escape their feelings and they end up coming between them. This book is a good way to start the series because it starts the beginning of the life of Lissa and Rose, but has what is necessary to make an amazing book.
